Greek yoghurt???? Oky to eat or no?
I bought greek yogurt and my bad I didn't check the label there.
In 1kg:
Fat 21%
Saturated fat 43%
Protein 14%
Carb 3%
Sugar 10%
Is it okay to eat in small portion? As a snack or breakfast??

@Zen07,
this is the stuff. The strawberry/raspberry also works for me.
mmmgggsss
You definitely DON'T have to just have plain yogurt. I buy the Chobani Greek fruit on the bottom. Some flavors have around 16 grams of carbs which is perfect for a snack. I add almonds for extra protein. The other brand I like is the Lite and Fit. They're only 8 grams I think? So I add 1/4 cup granola and almonds for a snack.

@CCons36,
i tried this yogurt n after two hours my glucose level was 150z
@CCons36,
depends on your doctor and dietitian both told me no flavors. there is a lot of extra hidden sugars and artificial flavoring.
I do plain and add in fresh fruit
I'll get plain Noosa and add stevia and do ok with that!
Potentially of interest to this thread.
My dietician told me to avoid milk-based products in the morning. Apparently milk sugars when they break down actually do so twice, so they hit roughly twice as hard as other kinds of carbs. So it's possible that while you can't handle this for breakfast it could still make a reasonable snack

@duhhedryj,
tried in lunch.. not working for me.
@mamatobe786,
That's unfortunate. :(
I was eating just regular green yogurt before bed and having a lot of abnormal fastings or with breakfast and then those would be a little high. Nutritionist suggested two good Greek yogurt. It has 2g of sugar and is low carb as well.
I get two good yogurt. They're not as good as my favorite high carb yogurt Libertè which is sadly boycotted until after delivery :( but they're flavored and slightly sweetened so it's not just plain yogurt and they're only 3 carbs.
yes, my nutritionist recommended greek yogurt and plain nonfat yogurt, both. They are actually good for you as long as you stick to the portion size. For me the portion size is about 2-3 ounces....
@VinV2584,
I have the Members mark greek yogurt from Sams club which is super low in sugar and extra creamy and smooth. Love it with blueberries.
